Let me remind you once again. In this blog of mine I share my personal experience, based solely on practice. No theory or copy-paste. If I write about something like that, it means I have experienced it myself. Personally verified, so to speak.
So, here it is.
For example, you stop eating meat (in my case, this also includes poultry, fish, and other seafood), stop drinking alcohol, and generally try to eat less (the myth of three meals a day is already pretty boring), practicing, for example, two meals a day.
And during this period it is very important to listen to yourself! To your “I”. Because one part of the mind will sometimes demand and send signals, as if you want to drink, or eat some meat, or just eat AGAIN. But if you listen carefully to yourself, you will understand that often you really do not want this. Just a false signal. Out of habit.
In this case, habit plays a bad role, because it seems to you that you “haven’t eaten enough”, or “can’t relax without beer” (or cigarettes, etc.), or that “you’ll die without meat”, and all that. Don’t fall for it. You’ll see, it will pass with time, it will become easier. In every sense.
I admit, when I just started to practice two meals a day (which I am not calling you to, but simply sharing my experience), I discovered that I began to consume MORE food than during three meals a day. Why? Because the brain is worried, wants to make a reserve, and then says, “Yes, take more, eat at least half a plate more, YOU ARE NOT HAVING DINNER, THERE IS ENOUGH ROOM IN YOUR STOMACH” )))
It didn’t last long, but it was memorable. It seemed like I started eating less, but in reality, I ate more.
In general, keep in mind – an anxious mind can play a joke.
